Aliahna Lemmon

Aliahna Lemmon, 9,  went missing from Fort Wayne, Indiana trailer park just before Christmas Eve. Her grandmother Amber Story thought Aliahna must have been sleep walking, thinking she was going home. Aliahna and her two sisters had been staying with family friend Michael Plumadore while her mother recovered from the flu.

According to grandma, Michael said that when he woke up around 10 AM, Aliahna was gone. He assumed she went home. Grandma says, a miscommunication between Michael and Aliahna's mom is why she wasnt reported missing until 8:30 PM that night. At the time, Amber Story didnt believe Michael Plumadore was responible for Aliahna's disapperance, saying the only person to blame is the person who took her.

This past Monday, police said that around 9 PM they found Aliahna's body about a mile from the trailer park in which she lived.  Michael Plumadore, who was suppose to be caring for her was charged with her murder. According to a probable cause affidavit, he admitted to repeatedly hitting her in the head with a brick while she stood in front of  his mobile home in the early hours on December 22nd. He then stored her body in a garbage bag until later that night when he dismembered her body with a hacksaw. He than disposed of some of her dismembered remains in a dumpster and kept her head, hands and feet in his freezer. .

As the investigation into Aliahna's death continues, one detail has been brought to light. Almost half the homes in the trailer park where Aliahna lived were occupied by registered sex offenders. Including Aliahna's own grandfather. James Lemmon was convicted in 2006 for child molestation. He had plead guilty to molesting a girl he babysat, from 1996 until 2003. Michael Plumadore had cared for James in the final months of his life and had spent a lot of time with Aliahna and her sisters.

Such a tragic and horrific end for such a sweet faced little girl. It takes a special kind of monster to do something like this to a child. The final charges against Michael Plumadore will be read on Friday. He was charged on one count of murder.

  1. Hi.

What exactly is the "Aliahna Lemmon Benefit Fund" monies used for? If I donated, what would my money actually be used for? I know not funeral/cremation expenses. So,if you don't mind,if you can find out exactly,I would greatly appreciate it.

Also, you accidently mispelled the word "remarks" and wrote "remakes". lol. No worries, human error, happens to me all the time.

    Thanx in advance. Be well.

  2. Thank you for pointing that out to me, lol. My fingers get to going and you know. The fund was set up to help the family with expenses and counseling. However I don't believe the fund is active anymore.
